ChairScholars

The ChairScholars Foundation, Inc., under the direction of founders Dr. Hugo and Alicia Keim, has generously donated over $70,000 to fund scholarships for students in our Pasco County public schools.

Dr. and Mrs. Keim provide scholarships to elementary and middle school students in the Tampa Bay area including Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties. They also fund a National ChairScholars program for graduating seniors, most of whom are wheelchair bound.

ChairScholars is a scholarship program that helps disabled children achieve their dreams of educational success by providing them with a trade school scholarship, a 2-year community college scholarship, or a 2+2 college scholarship, which pays for two years at a community college and then two years at a university.

ChairScholars recipients are invited each year to attend a festival held at The Keim’s residence, where they sign their contract stating they will maintain good grades, satisfactory attendance, good behavior in and out of school and their commitment to remain drug free and crime free.
