Mercury New Media Re-launches Pasco Education Foundation Website Foundation initiates one-stop online scholarship application process for students and teachers
Land O' Lakes, FL - March 3, 2005 - The Pasco Education Foundation announced today that it has re-launched its new website, now located at www.pascoeducationfoundation.org. The new website, designed and developed by Tampa-based web consultancy Mercury New Media, was re-launched to enable the Foundation to reach Pasco County students, faculty, sponsors and the community.
In addition to a new design and expanded content, significantly enhanced features and functions are available to site visitors and Foundation staff. A key feature of the new website is the ability for students and employees to apply for all available scholarships and grants online via a single application. This new functionality allows the Foundation to reach a much larger group of applicants. In addition, an automated scholarship application screening and processing capability allows the Foundation to handle far more applications than the former manual process.
“The Foundation is committed to tying the Pasco County School system and Pasco communities together. Our new website and scholarship application processing system extends our reach and makes the application process much easier”, said Chip Wichmanowski, President of The Pasco Education Foundation. “As a leader in providing scholarship and grant opportunities to the Pasco community, the Foundation is always looking for ways to make it easier to match contributions with those in need. Our new site clearly enables us to do this.”
